About the Role

We are looking for talented individuals to join our growing scientific services team in the US supporting the expansion of our highly innovative software product Genedata Expressionist®, a powerful solution that revolutionizes new methodologies that streamline mass spectrometry-based large molecule characterization. You will apply your mass spectrometry data processing and analysis expertise and leverage our highly innovative software product Genedata Expressionist to address the respective needs of leading biopharma companies.

As part of our tight-knit, quality-driven professional services team, you will act at the interface of science and business as a mass spectrometry application scientist, working and partnering closely with our customers as well as internal sales and software development teams.

We are looking for someone who is curious and inquisitive, with an ability to understand and present complex issues in a simple and rational way. This full-time position is based at our office in Lexington, MA. It requires about 20% travel within the US and requires occasional travel to Europe.

We are offering a base salary of between $90,000 to $110,000 for this position.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide software demonstrations, training, and technical support.
• Identify customer needs and map them to the capabilities of Genedata Expressionist.
• Deliver scientific consulting and professional services for customer projects.
• Act as interface between our internal teams and customer’s cross-functional partners including scientific and IT partners.
• Propose, plan, execute, and manage internal and external projects, such as scientific consulting, software implementation, and data analysis projects.
• Prepare and give scientific and technical presentations.

Skills & Experience

• We are looking for a smart and curious scientist with the following background:
• Mass spectrometry experience required, and mass spectrometry applied to protein analysis and biotherapeutics characterization preferred
• PhD preferred but M.S with 3+ years of relevant experience in mass spectrometry will also be considered
• Excited to work and partner with our customers to understand and solve their Mass Spectrometry data challenges. We are happy to mentor the right candidate in this regard
